Ultralight 3D nanofibrous aerogels embedded with metal‐organic frameworks effectively capture and neutralize toxic gases and organophosphonates. Incorporating mesoporous UiO‐66‐NH2 and HKUST‐1 into PAN/PVP fibers enables high MOF loading while maintaining mechanical strength and structural stability.

Sodium Inactivation in Nerve Fibers
A number of models proposed to account for the sodium conductance changes are shown to fall into two classes. The Hodgkin-Huxley (HH) model falls into a class (I) in which the conductance depends on two or more independent variables controlled by independent processes.

Microsphere Autolithography—A Scalable Approach for Arbitrary Patterning of Dielectric Spheres
MicroSphere Autolithography (µSAL) enables scalable fabrication of patchy particles with customizable surface motifs. Focusing light through dielectric microspheres creates well defined, tunable patches via a conformal poly(dopamine) photoresist. Nearly arbitrary surface patterns can be achieved, with the resolution set by the index contrast between ...

Multi-electrode nerve cuff recording - model analysis of the effects of finite cuff length [PDF]
The effect of finite cuff length on the signals recorded by electrodes at different positions along the nerve was analysed in a model study. Relations were derived using a one-dimensional model.
