ChemBang: Expanding the Chemical Space Around Small Molecules
Schematic diagram of the underlying concepts behind ChemBang and the molecular generation process from a seed molecular structure by applying the three main categories of chemical transformations, namely, interchange of small substituents, replacement of ring systems, and scaffold enlargement by additional ring systems.

Family‐level specialization in protein domain insertion architectures
Abstract Domain insertion creates architectures where one domain interrupts another's sequence. Analysis across 2.7 million classified domains reveals that insertions occur in 20% of multidomain proteins, with 331 families exhibiting consistent architectural roles: 162 function exclusively as hosts, while 169 exclusively serve as inserted modules, such

ABSTRACT Spiders are renowned for their ecological versatility and silk‐based innovations in materials science, yet marine environments remain virtually uncolonized by this predominantly terrestrial lineage. A striking exception is the obligate intertidal spider genus Desis, whose members have evolved extraordinary physiological and behavioural ...

Abstract Background G protein‐coupled receptors are a large and functionally diverse family of membrane receptors involved in a number of biological processes. Like other proteins, G protein‐coupled receptors need to be properly folded in order to traffic to the plasma membrane and interact with agonist.

Co-encapsulation of an antigen and CpG oligonucleotides into PLGA microparticles by TROMS technology. [PDF]
It seems well established that CpG oligonucleotides Th1 biased adjuvant activity can be improved when closely associated with a variety of antigens in, for example, microparticles.

We report a novel FGFR2::TXLNB fusion in a child with hippocampal PLNTY. This fusion likely drives tumorigenesis via homodimerization and activation of MAPK/PI3K pathways, expanding PLNTY's molecular spectrum and suggesting a potential therapeutic target.

T Cell Receptor Repertoires Across the Continuum of Vascular, Myocardial, and Age‐Related Diseases
ABSTRACT Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are shaped by a complex interplay with immune mechanisms. In particular, the distinct roles of antigen‐specific T cell mechanisms are emerging as critical determinants across a broad spectrum of conditions, ranging from atherosclerosis, myocardial infarction (MI), heart failure (HF), and myocarditis. Because these

We identify the long‐known virulence factor VirJ as a lysyl‐phosphatidylglycerol (L‐PG) hydrolase. Like the chromosomally encoded virulence factor AcvB, it prevents excessive accumulation of L‐PG in the membrane, thereby maintaining efficient T‐DNA transfer via the Type IV secretion system (T4SS) in Agrobacterium tumefaciens.

S2‐PepAnalyst: A Web Tool for Predicting Plant Small Signalling Peptides
ABSTRACT Small signalling peptides (SSPs) serve as crucial mediators of cell‐to‐cell communication in plants, orchestrating diverse physiological processes from development to stress responses. While recent advances in sequencing technologies have improved genome annotation, the identification of novel SSPs remains challenging due to their small size ...
