Stability of compression of the inner array plasma in nested arrays
Plasma Physics Reports, 2017The implosion of nested fiber/wire arrays was studied experimentally at the Angara-5-1 facility. The outer array consisted of kapron fibers, while the inner array was made of tungsten wires. The experiments were carried out at a discharge current of 3 MA.

Optimization of the inner array in a nested array Z-pinch

Nested wire arrays have been used to improve pinch quality and X-ray power. Numerical simulations suggest that the inner array acts to reduce the growth of the MHD Rayleigh-Taylor (RT) instability present in the outer array prior to impact.

Underwater DoA estimation based on nested array
MILCOM 2015 - 2015 IEEE Military Communications Conference, 2015This paper generalizes a new algorithm for Direction of Arrival (DoA) estimation in one and two dimensional (1D and 2D) underwater non-uniform sensor array networks (UWSANs).
