Location‐Specific Hematoma Volume Predicts Early Neurological Deterioration in Supratentorial ICH

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Early neurological deterioration (END) adversely affects outcomes in patients with intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). This study aimed to determine the location‐specific hematoma volumes for END in supratentorial ICH patients. Methods We retrospectively analyzed supratentorial ICH patients presenting from two prospective cohorts.

Detecting Adversarial Attacks in the Context of Bayesian Networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
In this research, we study data poisoning attacks against Bayesian network structure learning algorithms. We propose to use the distance between Bayesian network models and the value of data conflict to detect data poisoning attacks. We propose a 2-layered framework that detects both one-step and long-duration data poisoning attacks.

Normal‐Appearing White Matter Injury Mediates Chronic Deep Venous Hypoxia and Disease Progression in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To explore how cerebral hypoxia and Normal‐Appearing White Matter (NAWM) integrity affect MS lesion burden and clinical course. Methods Seventy‐nine MS patients, including 13 clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) patients and 66 relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) patients, and 44 healthy controls (HCs) were recruited from ...

DETECTION AND REMOVAL OF BLACK HOLE IN MOBILE AD-HOC NETWORK (MANET)

open access: yes, 2020
This paper gives information about the detection technique of black hole in the MANET. An ad hoc network is a collection of mobile nodes that dynamically form a temporary network. It operates without the central administration.

HTTP flood attack detection in application layer using machine learning metrics and bio inspired bat algorithm

open access: yesApplied Computing and Informatics, 2019
The internet network is mostly victimized to the Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attack, which is one that intentionally occupies the computing resources and bandwidth in order to deny that services to potential users.

A Depolarizing Leak in Sodium Bicarbonate Cotransporter NBCe1 Causes Brain Edema

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives SLC4A4 encodes electrogenic sodium bicarbonate cotransporter NBCe1, prominently expressed in kidney and brain. Recessive loss‐of‐function variants in SLC4A4 cause proximal renal tubular acidosis, no brain edema. In the brain, NBCe1 is expressed by astrocytes, where it regulates pH and mediates astrocyte volume changes.

Elevated Connectivity During Language Processing Is Associated With Cognitive Performance in SeLECTS

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Self‐Limited Epilepsy with Centrotemporal Spikes (SeLECTS) is associated with language impairments despite seizures originating in the motor cortex, suggesting aberrant cross‐network interactions. Here we tested whether functional connectivity in SeLECTS during language tasks predicts language performance.

Ats-dta: adaptive two-stage DDoS detection with dynamic threshold adjustment in SDN networks

open access: yesCybersecurity
Software-Defined Networking (SDN), as a new network architecture, has brought convenience, but also suffered from the threat of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack. However, most existing DDoS attack detection schemes for SDN employ only a single

Abnormal Traffic Detection Method for Multi-stage Attacks of Internet of Things Botnets [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji kexue
To address the problem of how to efficiently detect multi-stage attack behavior of IoT botnet from massive network traffic data,an IoT botnet attack detection method based on multi-scale hybrid residual network(IBAD-MHRN)is proposed.Firstly,in order to ...
