Network DEA based on DEA-ratio [PDF]

open access: yesFinancial Innovation, 2021
AbstractData envelopment analysis (DEA) is a technique to measure the performance of decision-making units (DMUs). Conventional DEA treats DMUs as black boxes and the internal structure of DMUs is ignored. Two-stage DEA models are special case network DEA models that explore the internal structures of DMUs.

Fuzzy Ranking Network DEA with General Structure [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
This paper extends two fuzzy ranking data envelopment analysis (DEA) approaches to the case of general networks of processes. The first approach provides an efficiency score for each possibility level which requires solving one linear program for each possibility level.

Measuring performance with common weights: network DEA [PDF]

open access: yesNeural Computing and Applications, 2019
In conventional data envelopment analysis (DEA), a production system has been seen as a black box for measuring the efficiency without any attention to what is happening inside the system. However, in practice, performance improvement often requires observing the internal structure of the producing system in order to find the sources of inefficiencies.

Benchmarking with network dea in a fuzzy environment [PDF]

open access: yesRAIRO - Operations Research, 2019
Benchmarking is a powerful and thriving tool to enhance the performance and profitabilities of organizations in business engineering. Though performance benchmarking has been practically and theoretically developed in distinct fields such as banking, education, health, and so on, benchmarking of supply chains with multiple echelons that include certain

Network DEA: an application to analysis of academic performance [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Industrial Engineering International, 2013
As governmental subsidies to universities are declining in recent years, sustaining excellence in academic performance and more efficient use of resources have become important issues for university stakeholders. To assess the academic performances and the utilization of the resources, two important issues need to be addressed, i.e., a capable ...

DEA for nonhomogeneous mixed networks

open access: yesAsia Pacific Management Review, 2019
Abstract Practically, systems contain a set of subunits each of which has a set of inputs and produces a set of outputs. Conventional data envelopment analysis (DEA) ignores the operations of individual subunits in a system and considers the system as a black-box.

Network DEA 모형과 DEA-window 분석을 이용한 저비용항공사 효율성 분석

open access: yesJournal of the Aviation Management Society of Korea, 2019

Neural network DEA for measuring the efficiency of mutual funds

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Decision Sciences, 2014
Efficiency in the mutual fund (MF), is one of the issues that has attracted many investors in countries with advanced financial market for many years.‎ Due to the need for frequent study of MF’s efficiency in short-term periods, investors need a method that not only has high accuracy, but also high speed.‎ Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is proven to ...
