ABSTRACT Background Children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are at risk of severe outcomes from SARS‐CoV‐2 (SCV2). In the post‐pandemic context, where most children have been infected with SCV2, there are limited data on whether vaccination remains beneficial in children with ALL.

ABSTRACT Background Central nervous system (CNS) involvement in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is assessed by cell counting and cytomorphology from cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and is used for treatment stratification worldwide. The ratio of “CNS2” patients in clinical trials ranges from 3% to 40%, with unclear prognostic significance ...

Guessing numbers based on network routing capacity [PDF]
In this thesis, a new method of studying problems in network information flow is introduced. This is established by developing on the relatively new concept of guessing numbers, which is related to network coding, and combining it with another technique ...

Flow characteristics in flow networks [PDF]
A flow network is a system of mutually intersecting holes in a plate or an assembly of plates. The flow at each intersection is characterized by a collision of two flow streams, resulting in complex flow patterns through the downstream holes. In the case of multiple intersections, the flow is periodically disrupted at each succeeding intersection, thus

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Flow diagnostics essential code: a simple and brief format for the summary of leukemia phenotyping.
BACKGROUND: Flow cytometry is a valuable part in the routine diagnostics of acute leukemia (AL). Although internationally recognized definitions of main AL subsets are available, there is currently no consensus format for the short summary of clinical

Analysis of Communication Network Flow Connection Behavior Based on Flow Knowledge Graph [PDF]
The graph model method has unique advantages in network flow behavior analysis, because it can intuitively and completely describe the connection mode of network flow. However, the current methods have many problems, such as single composition mode ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

A semi-open queueing network approach to the analysis of patient flow in healthcare systems [PDF]
In this paper, we present a modelling framework for patient flow in a healthcare system using semi-open queueing network models, which introduces a total bed constraint, above which new patients will be refused admission.

Estimation of flow trajectories in a multi-lines transportation network
Characterizing a public transportation network, such as an urban network with multiple lines, requires the origin–destination trip counts during a given period.
