Formation of Multiple Networks
2013While most research in Social Network Analysis has focused on single networks, the availability of complex on-line data about individuals and their mutual heterogenous connections has recently determined a renewed interest in multi-layer network analysis.

Network formation with sequential demands
Review of Economic Design, 2000This paper introduces a non-cooperative game-theoretic model of sequential network formation, in which players propose links and demand payoffs. Payoff division is therefore endogenous. We show that if the value of networks satisfies size monotonicity, then each and every equilibrium network is efficient.

A Network Formation Model for Collaboration Networks
2018In social networks, a network grows by following certain rules and patterns, e.g. a collaboration network in which authors come together and publish an article. These authors might have collaborated previously, or they may collaborate in the future with other authors. That is how a collaboration network grows.

Dynamic Network Formation in Ambient Information Networking
2008 Ninth International Conference on Parallel and Distributed Computing, Applications and Technologies, 2008In ambient information society, a variety of networks consisting of sensory and computational devices are embedded in the environment and individuals. They are autonomously connected, merged, and divided depending on the context and provide a network service appropriate for time, place, occasion, and individuals.
