A Graph Neural Network-Based Digital Twin for Network Slicing Management
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, 2022Network slicing has emerged as a promising networking paradigm to provide resources tailored for Industry 4.0 and diverse services in 5G networks. However, the increased network complexity poses a huge challenge in network management due to virtualized ...

Network Management Extensions, performing network management activities
2010 9th International Symposium on Electronics and Telecommunications, 2010When developing a network management system, the developer is faced with many choices concerning how to interact with the network resources and how to embed into the schema of manager agent architectures. In this paper we propose NMX (Network Management Extensions), a software framework implementation based on Java JMX (Java Management Extensions ...

Managed clinical networks (MCNs) are self-supporting groups of professionals working together to ensure cross-speciality sharing of patients and expertise. They are a strong mechanism for ensuring that patients receive the care they need in a timely fashion from the most suitable professional in the network area.

Network management's impact on managed networks
Proceedings of 19th Conference on Local Computer Networks, 2002Network management, when conducted in-band, adds traffic load to the managed network. Sometimes it is hard to tell how much traffic will result from network management. SNMP-based management stations can behave in surprising ways. Direct measurement of this traffic is needed, but needs to be done carefully.
