Ultrafast Laser Synthesis of Zeolites

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The study presents a novel ultrafast laser‐driven synthesis technique for zeolites directly in liquid. Laser pulses create a microscopic reactor that controls reaction kinetics at femto‐ and picosecond timescales. Nonlinear light‐matter interactions drive nucleation and growth, allowing the process to be paused at any stage of self‐assembly.

Predicting Time Series of Networked Dynamical Systems without Knowing Topology [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Many real-world complex systems, such as epidemic spreading networks and ecosystems, can be modeled as networked dynamical systems that produce multivariate time series. Learning the intrinsic dynamics from observational data is pivotal for forecasting system behaviors and making informed decisions. However, existing methods for modeling networked time

Solvothermal Template‐Induced Hierarchical Porosity in Covalent Organic Frameworks: A Pathway to Enhanced Diffusivity

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Hierarchically porous covalent organic frameworks (hCOFs) are constructed using a solvothermal template‐induced synthetic strategy. Commercially available zinc oxide nanoparticles are employed as hard template enabling an increase in total pore volume in a series of COFs.

Single‐Layer Spin‐Orbit‐Torque Magnetization Switching Due to Spin Berry Curvature Generated by Minute Spontaneous Atomic Displacement in a Weyl Oxide

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Single‐layer magnetization switching with a small critical current density of ≈106 A cm−2 is demonstrated. The strong intrinsic spin Hall effect, causing the switching, is induced by the synergy of the inherent spin‐orbit coupling and the spontaneous oxygen octahedral rotation in SrRuO3.The findings highlight the immense potential for realizing ...
