A “Cool” Route to Battery Electrode Material Recovery
Ice‐stripping, a novel sub‐zero electrode delamination technique, enables >90% recovery of the electrode materials from manufacturing scrap and end‐of‐life batteries. Water is sprayed upon a porous electrode and quickly freezes when placed on a cold surface. The foil is peeled away, leaving behind the black mass with the morphology retained.

In this contribution, we propose and investigate the containment control issue for general linear multiagent systems (MASs) under the asynchronous setting, where the network topology is not subjected to any structural restrictions and the roles of the ...

Communication Network Topology Inference via Transfer Entropy
IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, 2020In this work, we consider the problem of inferring links in a communication network, using limited, passive observations of network traffic. Our approach leverages transfer entropy (TE) as a metric for quantifying the strength of the automatic repeat ...

Estimating Topology of Networks
Physical Review Letters, 2006We suggest a method for estimating the topology of a network based on the dynamical evolution supported on the network. Our method is robust and can be also applied when disturbances and/or modeling errors are presented. Several examples with networks of phase oscillators, pulse-coupled Hindmarch-Rose neurons, and Lorenz oscillators are provided to ...

Network topology design at 27,000 km/hour
Conference on Emerging Network Experiment and Technology, 2019Upstart space companies are actively developing massive constellations of low-flying satellites to provide global Internet service. We examine the problem of designing the inter-satellite network for low latency and high capacity.

Abstract The application of the Industrial Ethernet brings up issues of both the reliability and behaviour of the networks under a demanded load, while preserving the permitted time delay in the whole network. We propose an algorithm that designs the network topology, which meets the required fault tolerance and allows reliable communication between ...
