Optimal Neural Network Control

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1992
This paper proposes an unsupervised learning control system based on multi-layered feed-forward neural networks. A new strategy is developed for training neural network controller such that an overall performance index over a period of time is optimized.

Controllability analysis of networks

Physical Review E, 2007
The concept of controllability of linear systems from control theory is applied to networks inspired by biology. A node is in this context controllable if an external signal can be applied which can adjust the level (e.g., protein concentration) of the node in a finite time to an arbitrary value, regardless of the levels of the other nodes.

Controllability of complex networks

Nature, 2011
The ultimate proof of our understanding of natural or technological systems is reflected in our ability to control them. Although control theory offers mathematical tools for steering engineered and natural systems towards a desired state, a framework to control complex self-organized systems is lacking.

Dynamic neural network based networked predictive control for Networked control systems

2011 9th IEEE International Conference on Control and Automation (ICCA), 2011
This paper is concerned with the design of the dynamic neural network based networked predictive controller for Networked control systems with random network delay in both forward and feedback channel. The proposed controller mainly consists of the control prediction generator and network delay compensator.
