“It Is Much Safer to Be Sparse than Connected”: Safe Control of Robotic Swarm Density Dynamics with PDE Optimization with State Constraints

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This paper proposes a novel control framework to ensure safety of a robotic swarm. A feedback optimization controller is capable of driving the swarm toward a target density while keeping risk‐zone exposure below a safety threshold. Theory and experiments show how safety is more effectively achieved for sparsely connected swarms.

A White Noise Approach to Stochastic Neumann Boundary-Value Problems [PDF]

open access: yesActa Applicandae Mathematica, 2000
The aim of the paper is to illustrate the application of white noise calculus to stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs) by studying the stochastic boundary-value problem of Neumann type: \[ LU(x)-c(x)U(x)=0 \text{ for } x \in {\mathcal D}, \qquad {\gamma (x)}U(x)=-W(x) \text{ for } x\in {\partial}{\mathcal D}, \] where \({\mathcal D}\subset {

In‐Memory Continuous‐Time SAT Solver Based on Bidirectional 11‐T SRAM Macro

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This article reported a continuous‐time (CT) Boolean satisfiability (SAT) problem solver using bidirectional 11T‐SRAM macro. The proposed system operates asynchronously using capacitor‐based gradient integration and maximizes the parallelism for SAT solving by in‐memory computing (IMC).

Mesh-based numerical implementation of the localized boundary-domain integral equation method to a variable-coefficient Neumann problem

open access: yes, 2005
An implementation of the localized boundary-domain integral-equation (LBDIE) method for the numerical solution of the Neumann boundary-value problem for a second-order linear elliptic PDE with variable coefficient is discussed.

Exploiting Ferroelectric and Spintronic Dynamics for Neural Network Computation

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Ferroelectric and spintronic devices, relying on the control of polarization and magnetization, offer intrinsically fast, durable, energy‐efficient, and low‐latency building blocks for analog in‐memory computing. The hysteretic dynamics of an order parameter are leveraged to provide nonvolatile, multistate memory and nonlinear switching. Brain‐inspired

Green Entrepreneurship Research: A Review of the Domain and Future Research Agenda

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examined the evolving landscape of green entrepreneurship (GE) research through a comprehensive analysis that combined bibliometric and systematic literature reviews. Analysis of 88 articles retrieved from the Web of Science (WoS) mapped the research trajectory, identifying key authors, journals and research themes.

k-dimensional nonlocal boundary-value problems at resonance

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2015
In this article we show the existence of at least one solution to the system of nonlocal resonant boundary-value problem $$ x''=f(t,x), \quad x'(0)=0, \quad x'(1)=\int_{0 }^{1}x'(s)\,dg(s), $$ where $f:[0,1]\times\mathbb{R}^k\to\mathbb{R}^k$, $g:[0 ...

On the ill-posed problem for the Poisson equation

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы, 2018
A boundary value problem in a two - dimensional rectangular region for the Poisson equation is studied in the paper. The original ill - posed boundary value problem is transformed to the optimal control problem.
