Pantothenic Acid Protects Neurons After Ischemic Stroke by Targeting ID3 to Restore Action Potential Amplitude

Ischemic stroke reduces ID3 expression and impairs neuronal action potential amplitude and frequency. Pantothenic acid (PA) targets and upregulates ID3, restoring amplitude but not frequency. The PA‐ID3‐amplitude axis represents a potential neuroprotective strategy.
