A FO-ADRC Based Neutral-Point Potential Balancing for Three-Level Inverter
2017 IEEE 23rd International Conference on Parallel and Distributed Systems (ICPADS), 2017The neutral-point balancing control of neutral-point-clamped (NPC) three-level inverter is concerned. To solve this problem, two steps are considered. First, a new state-space model of DC bus voltage is established to extract the fluctuation of neutral-point potential (NPP) as a special disturbance.

A New Balancing Algorithm of Neutral-Point Potential in the Three-Level NPC Converters
2008 IEEE Industry Applications Society Annual Meeting, 2008The neutral-point (NP) potential of the three-level neutral-point-clamped converters is needed to maintain balanced. Zero-sequence voltage is the only freedom degree when carrier-based PWM is utilized. Appropriate zero-sequence voltage should be identified to control the NP potential.

Compared with the conventional buck-boost three-level inverters, the Z-source neutral-point-clamped (NPC) inverters have more simple structure with improved output waveform quality. But the neutral-point potential unbalance problem is still a drawback for their applications. Based on the research of SPWM modulation method and the analysis of the effect

Study on the Strategy of Neutral Point Potential Control of Three-level Inverter
2018 IEEE 3rd Advanced Information Technology, Electronic and Automation Control Conference (IAEAC), 2018Taking the three-level inverter as the research object, the topology of the main circuit and the space vector voltage modulation algorithm in the 60° coordinate system are introduced. In order to reduce the harm caused by the midpoint potential imbalance, a closed-loop midpoint voltage and current detection method was proposed.

Study on neutral-point potential control for the NPC three-level converter
2016 IEEE 11th Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA), 2016The neutral-point potential control is very difficult for the NPC three-level converter. This paper proposes an accurate model of the NPC three-level converter with parametric perturbation. The developed model mathematically describes that the basic reason for the neutral-point potential drift is the unbalanced distribution of active power caused by ...

Neutral point potential balance control strategy of three level inverter
2018 13th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA), 2018The paper analyzes the principle of diode-clamped three-level inverter mainly from the control strategy of three-level midpoint potential balance. It expounds the reason and harm of the point potential imbalance in the three-level inverter and uses the adjustment of the complementary vector relative working time to control the mid — point potential ...

A neutral-point potential balancing algorithm for five-level ANPC converters
2011 International Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems, 2011Five-level active neutral-point-clamped (ANPC) converter is a newly emerging topology which can overcome the drawbacks of traditional neutral-point clamped (NPC) converters and flying-capacitor (FC) converters. Its dc-link is subdivided into two equal parts and the main problem is the neutral-point (NP) potential balancing.

To realize the neutral point potential (NPP) control for three‐level neutral‐point‐clamped (TL‐NPC) converters, a novel NPP control based on the search optimization method of the two degrees of freedom is proposed in this paper. It can overcome the low‐frequency NPP fluctuation problem that appears under nearest‐three‐vector pulse width modulation (PWM)
