Oscillations of Neutral Delay Differential Equations

Canadian Mathematical Bulletin, 1986
AbstractThe oscillatory behavior of the solutions of the neutral delay differential equationwhere p, τ, and a are positive constants and Q ∊ C([t0, ∞), ℝ+), are studied.

Oscillatory Phenomena in Neutral Delay Differential Equations

Acta Mathematica Hungarica, 1997
Consider the general odd-order delay differential equation of the type \[ x^{(n)}(t)+\sum^m_{i=1} q_ix(t-\sigma_i)=0. \tag{*} \] The authors show that if \(n\) is odd and \[ \frac 1n \left(\sum^m_{i=1}\sigma^n_i q_i\right)^{1/n}>\frac 1e \] then every solution to (*) oscillates.

NUMERICS FOR NEUTRAL DELAY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2006
Abstract For a delay differential equation of neutral type (in short NDDE) the usual approach for solving delay equations, based on the use of a continuous ODE method, must take care of the additional term involving the derivative of the solution at some previous instant. Therefore, besides the continuous extension for approximating the solution, the

Stability of Neutral Stochastic Delay Differential Equation

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2012
The paper discusses the pth moment stability of neutral stochastic differential equation with multiple variable delays. The stability is more general and representative than the exponential stability. This investigation uses a specific Lyapunov function based on usual methods. And it discusses the neutral stochastic differential equations with multiple

STABILITY FOR DELAY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS OF NEUTRAL TYPE

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2006
Abstract This paper is devoted to stability analysis of Delay Differential Equations of Neutral type. In particular we present two reformulations of the problem, for which the neutral system is transformed into an ordinary differential equation coupled to an algebraic recursion.

Discontinuous solutions of neutral delay differential equations

Applied Numerical Mathematics, 2006
It is well known that the solutions of delay differential and implicit and explicit neutral delay differential equations (NDDEs) may have discontinuous derivatives, but it has not been sufficiently appreciated that the solutions of NDDEs -- and, therefore, solutions of delay differential algebraic equations -- need not to be continuous. Numerical codes

Chebyshev solution for neutral delay differential equations

International Journal of Computer Mathematics, 1999
A method is given for the numerical solution of a class of neutral and advanced delay differential equations, in the form of Chebyshev series. The method can be applied to system of neutral and advanced delay differential equations with single delay as well as with several delay terms. Moreover the method can be applied to stiff problems of these kinds.
