Nonreciprocal wave scattering on nonlinear string-coupled oscillators

We study scattering of a periodic wave in a string on two lumped oscillators attached to it. The equations can be represented as a driven (by the incident wave) dissipative (due to radiation losses) system of delay differential equations of neutral type.

Oscillation of First Order Neutral Delay Differential Equations

First order neutral delay differential equations with single delays as well as with several delays are studied. Some necessary and sufficient conditions for oscillation are proved by using the existence of real roots of the relevant characteristic equation. Some sufficient conditions for oscillation are obtained.

Multifunctional atomic layer deposited coatings and interface treatments enhance direct solar water splitting on GaAs/GaInP tandem cells. Optimized TiO2/Pt nanoparticle bilayers ensure durability and catalytic efficiency with minimal optical losses, while H2 plasma pretreatments maximize photovoltage and interfacial charge extraction.
