Nonparametric estimation of risk neutral density

2023

Neutral hydrogen density measurement in TMSPP

Acta Physica Sinica (Overseas Edition), 1993
Resonance fluorescence of neutral hydrogen illuminated by Hα (656.3 nm) radiation provides a technique for spatially and temporally resolved density measurements of neutral hydrogen in high temperature plasma. Experiments have been performed in the exhaust of a tandem mirror space propulsion device.

Properties of the neutral density and composition in the thermosphere

Advances in Space Research, 1983
Abstract Measurements of the density and composition of the thermosphere between 150 and 500 km, which were obtained by the S3-1 satellite, have been compared with the Jacchia and MSIS models. The measurements of the densities of O, N 2 , N and Ar show some differences from the current models which should be considered during the preparation of the ...

The influence of density in ultracold neutral plasma

Physics of Plasmas, 2016
We simulate the evolution of ultracold neutral plasmas using molecular dynamics calculations with open boundary conditions. The calculations use 6000 ions and 6000 electrons, respectively, with a quasi-real ion-electron mass ratio of mi/me=1000. The simulated plasmas have both Gaussian and ordered initial distributions.

Neutral Air Density and Composition

1973
The thermosphere (85 to 500 km) is heated primarily by the following processes: (a) absorption of solar UV, EUV, and X-rays (λ= 1700 to 8 A); (b) dissipation of solar wind energy deposited into the thermosphere through solar wind magnetosphere upper atmosphere interactions (including absorption of accelerated solar wind particles ...

Neutral Density Filters of Chromel A1

Journal of the Optical Society of America, 1947
A short review of the available neutral density filters is given, with emphasis placed on the evaporation of Chromel A to form a film of any practical density that has neutral transmission throughout the visible and into the infra-red and ultraviolet regions.
