Surface Tension Measurement of Ti‐6Al‐4V by Falling Droplet Method in Oxygen‐Free Atmosphere
In this article, the temperature‐dependent surface tension of free falling, oscillating Ti‐6Al‐4V droplets is investigated in both argon and monosilane doped, oxygen‐free atmosphere. Droplet temperature and oscillation are captured with one single high‐speed camera, and the surface tension is calculated with Rayleigh's formula.

Cermets (60 vol.% AISI 316L stainless steel, 40 vol.% recycled MgO), intended for use in aluminum electrolysis, were pre‐oxidized in three furnaces with different heating technologies and subjected to a cryolite corrosion test. The different atmospheres influenced the formation of oxide layers, which in turn affected corrosion resistance and ...

Periodic perturbations of neutral equations

Analyzing Electronic Excitations and Exciton Binding Energies in Y6 Films
The Y6 molecule is used for increasing the efficiency of organic solar cells. The exciton binding energy is calculated for ensembles of Y6 molecules that are representative of the typically used films. The calculations show that the excitons typically spread out over many molecules.

Stability Switches in a First-Order Complex Neutral Delay Equation
Stability of the first-order neutral delay equation x′(t)+ax′(t−τ)=bx(t)+cx(t−τ) with complex coefficients is studied, by analyzing the existence of stability switches.

eriodicity and stability in neutral nonlinear differential equations with functional delay
We study the existence and uniqueness of periodic solutions and the stability of the zero solution of the nonlinear neutral differential equation $$ frac{d}{dt}x(t) = -a(t)x(t)+ frac{d}{dt}Q(t, x(t-g(t))) +G(t,x(t), x(t-g(t))).

Oscillations of mixed neutral equations
This article considers oscillatory and asymptotic behaviour of solutions for a neutral first order equation (of advanced, retarded or mixed type). A feature of the employed methods concerns the fact that the problem is tackled involving some conditions on the coefficients and the argument only rather than the characteristic equation associated with ...
