Near‐Infrared Emitting Lanthanide Catecholate Giant Single Crystals – Morphology Control and Photon Down‐Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Controlled syntheses of lanthanide coordination polymers based on the dihydroxybenzoquinone (DHBQ) organic linker afforded large single crystals of Ln‐DHBQ CPs (Ln = Yb, Nd). A novel structural variant of Yb‐DHBQ is identified by means of single crystal diffraction analysis.

Oscillation of Second-Order Neutral Functional Differential Equations with Mixed Nonlinearities

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2011
We study the following second-order neutral functional differential equation with mixed nonlinearities (r(t)|(u(t)+p(t)u(t-σ))'|α-1(u(t)+p(t)u(t-σ))′)′+q0(t)|u(τ0(t))|α-1u(τ0(t))+q1(t)|u(τ1(t))|β-1u(τ1(t))+q2(t)|u(τ2(t))|γ-1u(τ2(t))=0, where γ>α>β>0, ∫t0∞

Highly Sensitive Electrochemical Biosensor Based on Hairy Particles with Controllable High Enzyme Loading and Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
For the first time, a highly sensitive electrochemical biosensor based on SiO2‐based hairy particles with a grafted PDMAEMA polymer brush containing a quantifiable and large amount of immobilized Laccase is reported. The fabricated biosensor exhibits a sensitivity of 0.14 A·m⁻¹, a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.1 µm, and a detection range of 0.3–750 µm,

Neutral functional differential equations of second-order with infinite delays

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2010
This work shows the existence of mild solutions to neutral functional differential equations of second-order with infinite delay. The Hausdorff measure of noncompactness and fixed point theorem are used, without assuming compactness on the associated

Flexibility and Dynamicity Enhances and Controls Supramolecular Self‐Assembly of Zinc(II) Metallogels

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Zinc(II) coordination complexes with tunable aryloxy‐imine ligands exhibit controllable supramolecular self‐assembly into hierarchical fibrous structures. Coordination‐driven stacking, not π–π interactions, enables gelation, dynamic assembly/disassembly, and enhanced nanomechanical properties.

Controllability of nonlocal second-order impulsive neutral stochastic functional integro-differential equations with delay and Poisson jumps

open access: yesCogent Engineering, 2015
The current paper is concerned with the controllability of nonlocal second-order impulsive neutral stochastic functional integro-differential equations with infinite delay and Poisson jumps in Hilbert spaces.

Stationary Solutions of Neutral Stochastic Partial Differential Equations with Delays in the Highest-Order Derivatives

open access: yes, 1980
In this work, we shall consider the existence and uniqueness of stationary solutions to stochastic partial functional differential equations with additive noise in which a neutral type of delay is explicitly presented.

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

Asymptotic Behavior of Higher-Order Quasilinear Neutral Differential Equations

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
We study asymptotic behavior of solutions to a class of higher-order quasilinear neutral differential equations under the assumptions that allow applications to even- and odd-order differential equations with delayed and advanced arguments, as well as to
