Mg(OH)2 Nanoflakes for Effective Removal of Phosphate Ions
The direct synthesis of Mg(OH)2 nanoflakes yielded a simple, low‐cost adsorbent for phosphate removal. Microscopy confirmed highly segregated flake‐like structures with large surface area and active sites. Zeta potential measurements showed changes in surface charge after adsorption, supporting the interaction mechanism between phosphate ions and Mg(OH)
