Intein‐based modular chimeric antigen receptor platform for specific CD19/CD20 co‐targeting

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CARtein is a modular CAR platform that uses split inteins to splice antigen‐recognition modules onto a universal signaling backbone, enabling precise, scarless assembly without re‐engineering signaling domains. Deployed here against CD19 and CD20 in B‐cell malignancies, the design supports flexible multi‐antigen targeting to boost T‐cell activation and

Regarding at the Circular Plates Rigidity with Radial Ribs, Neglecting the Welding Seams Influence. Ribs with Constant Thickness and Lineal Variable Heighness on Length, Placed Just on a Face

open access: yesScientific Bulletin of Valahia University: Materials and Mechanics, 2022
On base of obtained results in working [1], in a certain case one should take account the lineal chamfering of ribs upon the neutral fiber position and of the circular and plane plate bending rigiditybwith radial ribs. The illustration of the theoretical

[3-Methoxy-5-(methoxycarbonyl)isoxazol-4-yl](4-methoxyphenyl)iodonium 2,2,2-trifluoroacetate

open access: yesIUCrData, 2023
A new isoxazole-based iodonoium salt, C13H13INO5+·C2F3O2−, has been synthesized and structurally characterized. In the crystal, ions are linked by short I...O contacts to form a neutral tetra-ion aggregate.

Constraints on Gamma-ray Emission from the Galactic Plane at 300 TeV [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
We describe a new search for diffuse ultrahigh energy gamma-ray emission associated with molecular clouds in the galactic disk. The Chicago Air Shower Array (CASA), operating in coincidence with the Michigan muon array (MIA), has recorded over 2.2 x 10 ...

Monitoring of circulating tumor DNA allows early detection of disease relapse in patients with operable breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Monitoring circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in patients with operable breast cancer can reveal disease relapse earlier than radiology in a subset of patients. The failure to detect ctDNA in some patients with recurrent disease suggests that ctDNA could serve as a supplement to other monitoring approaches.

Iron Emission Lines on the Galactic Ridge Observed with Suzaku

open access: yes, 2008
In order to elucidate origin of the Galactic Ridge X-ray Emission, we analyzed Suzaku data taken at various regions along the Galactic plane and studied their Fe-K emission line features.

Crucial parameters for precise copy number variation detection in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded solid cancer samples

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that copy number variations (CNVs) can be reliably detected in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded (FFPE) solid cancer samples using ultra‐low‐pass whole‐genome sequencing, provided that key (pre)‐analytical parameters are optimized.

Colorectal cancer‐derived FGF19 is a metabolically active serum biomarker that exerts enteroendocrine effects on mouse liver

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...

VENM: An Algorithm to Accurately Calculate Neutral Slopes and Gradients

open access: yesJournal of Advances in Modeling Earth Systems, 2019
Mesoscale eddies stir along the neutral plane, and the resulting neutral diffusion is a fundamental aspect of subgrid‐scale tracer transport in ocean models.

High-pT pi^zero Production with Respect to the Reaction Plane in Au + Au Collisions at sqrt(s_NN) = 200 GeV

open access: yes, 2009
Measurements of the azimuthal anisotropy of high-\pT neutral pion neutral pion production in Au+Au collisions at sqrt(s_NN) = 200 GeV by the PHENIX experiment are presented.
