Hydrogel‐Based 3D‐Printable Stretchable Pressure Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
We present a carbon‐black‐functionalized double‐network granular hydrogel (DNGH) pressure sensor capable of detecting pressures from 200 Pa, equivalent to a light finger touch, up to 500 kPa. The sensor exhibits signal drifts below 3.5% after 800 cycles and response times around 80 ms. Leveraging this broad sensing range, we 3D print this material into

Nitroxide‐Mediated Photo‐Polymerization: A Swiss Army Knife for Microfluidic Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This article illustrates the application of NMP2 to the rapid (less than 1 h) photostructuring and sealing of model structures intended for microfluidic applications. Remarkably, the careful design of resin composition allows completing these steps by simply spreading bare monomer (i.e., no added photoinitiator) on top of the bottom layer embedding ...

Feed-forward Space Vector Modulation for Single-Phase Multilevel Cascade Converters with any DC voltage ratio [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Modulation techniques for multilevel converters can create distorted output voltages and currents if the DC link voltages are unbalanced. This situation can be avoided if the instantaneous DC voltage error is not taken into account in the modulation ...
