Search for neutralinos in Z decays [PDF]
Abstract We have searched for neutralinos produced via the reactions e + e − → χχ′ and e + e − → χ′χ′, where the next-to lightest neutralino, χ′, decays into the lightest neutralino, χ, and either a photon or a fermion pair. Based on 1.8 × 10 6 hadronic Z decays collected with the L3 detector at LEP, no signal has been observed.

The relic abundance and the scalar cross-section off nucleon for light neutralinos (of mass below about 45 GeV) are evaluated in an effective MSSM model without GUT-inspired relations among gaugino masses. It is shown that these neutralinos may provide a sizeable contribution to the matter density in the Universe and produce measurable effects in WIMP ...

Neutralino annihilation into gluons [PDF]
We present a complete calculation of the cross section for neutralino annihilation into the two-gluon final state. This channel can be quite important for the phenomenology of neutralino annihilation due to the well-known helicity suppression of neutralino annihilation into light quarks and leptons.

Discovery and Exclusion Prospects for Staus Produced by Heavy Higgs Boson Decays at the LHC
In a previous work, we developed a search strategy for staus produced by the decay of the heavy CP‐even Higgs boson H within the context of the large tanβ regime of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) in a scenario of large stau mixing. Here, we study the performance of such search strategy by confronting it with the complementary mixing ...

Analysis of the neutralino system in two-body decays of neutralinos [PDF]
In the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM), the neutralinos, the spin--1/2 Majorana superpartners of the neutral gauge and Higgs bosons, are expected to be among the light supersymmetric particles that can be produced copiously at future high--energy colliders.

Neutralino oscillations at the LHC [PDF]
We study a supersymmetric phenomenon that can give spectacular signals at the LHC: oscillations of neutralinos. Such oscillations can be naturally realised in R-symmetric models, where additional fields are introduced as Dirac mass partners of gauginos and Higgsinos. Majorana masses for gauginos, necessarily generated from anomaly mediation, can create

The well-tempered neutralino [PDF]
The dark-matter prediction is usually considered as one of the successes of low-energy supersymmetry. We argue that, after LEP constraints are taken into account, the correct prediction for the dark-matter density, at a quantitative level, is no longer a natural consequence of supersymmetry, but it requires special relations among parameters, highly ...
