The Discreet Charm of Higgsino Dark Matter: A Pocket Review

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2018, Issue 1, 2018., 2018
We give a brief review of the current constraints and prospects for detection of higgsino dark matter in low‐scale supersymmetry. In the first part we argue, after performing a survey of all potential dark matter particles in the MSSM, that the (nearly) pure higgsino is the only candidate emerging virtually unscathed from the wealth of observational ...

Search for electroweak production of charginos in final states with two τ leptons in pp collisions at s = 8 $$ \sqrt{s}=8 $$ TeV

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
Results are presented from a search for the electroweak production of supersymmetric particles in pp collisions in final states with two τ leptons. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity between 18.1 fb−1 and 19.6 fb−1 depending on the ...

LHC tests of light neutralino dark matter without light sfermions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
A bstractWe address the question how light the lightest MSSM neutralino can be as dark matter candidate in a scenario where all supersymmetric scalar particles are heavy.

Dark matter in NMSSM with small λ and κ

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2023
The NMSSM provides an excellent dark matter candidate, usually the lightest neutralino (χ̃10) being the lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP), in the universe. It is a mixture of the bino, the neutral wino, the neutral higgsinos, and the singlino.

An Analysis of a Minimal Vectorlike Extension of the Standard Model

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2017, Issue 1, 2017., 2017
We analyze an extension of the Standard Model with an additional SU(2) hypercolor gauge group keeping the Higgs boson as a fundamental field. Vectorlike interactions of new hyperquarks with the intermediate vector bosons are explicitly constructed. We also consider pseudo‐Nambu–Goldstone bosons caused by the symmetry breaking SU(4) → Sp(4).

Neutralino annihilation into two photons [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1997
We compute the annihilation cross-section of two neutralinos at rest into two photons, which is of importance for the indirect detection of neutralino dark matter in the galactic halo through a quasi-monochromatic gamma-ray line. We include all diagrams to one-loop level in the minimal supersymmetric extension of the standard model. We use the helicity

Search for supersymmetry using Higgs boson to diphoton decays at s $$ \sqrt{s} $$ = 13 TeV

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
A search for supersymmetry (SUSY) is presented where at least one Higgs boson is produced and decays to two photons in the decay chains of pair-produced SUSY particles.

Bose‐Einstein Condensate Dark Matter Halos Confronted with Galactic Rotation Curves

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2017, Issue 1, 2017., 2017
We present a comparative confrontation of both the Bose‐Einstein Condensate (BEC) and the Navarro‐Frenk‐White (NFW) dark halo models with galactic rotation curves. We employ 6 High Surface Brightness (HSB), 6 Low Surface Brightness (LSB), and 7 dwarf galaxies with rotation curves falling into two classes.

Search for long-lived particles using out-of-time trackless jets in proton-proton collisions at s $$ \sqrt{s} $$ = 13 TeV

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
A search for long-lived particles decaying in the outer regions of the CMS silicon tracker or in the calorimeters is presented. The search is based on a data sample of proton-proton collisions at s $$ \sqrt{s} $$ = 13 TeV recorded with the CMS detector ...
