Catalytic Phosphite Hydrolysis under Neutral Reaction Conditions

Inorganic Chemistry, 2018
Cationic phosphametallocene-based platinum(II) aqua complexes were used as efficient precatalysts for the hydrolysis of aromatic and aliphatic tertiary phosphites under neutral reaction conditions at room temperature, leading to the selective cleavage of one P-O bond of the phosphite.

Neutrino neutral current reactions in 12C

Annals of Physics, 1985
The differential and total cross sections for the nuclear reaction νμ + 12C (g.s) → 12C∗ (1+; T = 1, 15.1 MeV) + νμ are investigated for values of 50 ≤ Eνμ ≤ 300 MeV. An effective Hamiltonian for the above nuclear reaction is constructed from the neutrino-quark neutral current weak interaction, by first constructing the neutrino-nucleon neutral current

Reactions between neutrals clustered on ions

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1982
The observation of a new kind of gas phase chemical reaction is reported. The reactions of O3 and N2O5 molecules with NO are greatly enhanced when the O3 and N2O5 molecules are clustered to chemically weak alkali ions. The alkali ions do not participate in chemical bonding but simply lower the activation energy for neutral reactions by the ...

Negative-Ion—Neutral Reactions

1972
This chapter is concerned principally with two-body reactions between negative ions and neutral molecules at low energies in the gas phase. Introductory material on the formation and disappearance of negative ions is also included. Emphasis is placed on results arising from the use of mass spectrometer ion sources or double mass spectrometers as the ...

Rydberg-Neutral Ultracold Chemical Reactions

2020
The previous chapter can be viewed as a “first” approach to ultracold Rydberg atoms and ultralong-range Rydberg molecules motivated by the promising applications of these entities in quantum technologies and the quantum simulation of complex systems [1].

Neutral-neutral reactions for the formation of C3O and C3S

Astrophysics and Space Science, 2014
We investigate, neutral-neutral radiative association reactions (C2+CO) and (C2+CS) for the formation of C3O and C3S respectively by DFT. Both the reactions are spin allowed and found to be exothermic and barrierless in nature. The product of these reactions are perfectly linear and the calculated rotational transitions are in good agreement with ...
