Tau Neutrino Astronomy in GeV Energies [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Rev. D71 (2005) 103008, 2005
We point out the opportunity of the tau neutrino astronomy for the neutrino energy E ranging between 10 GeV and 10^3 GeV. In this energy range, the intrinsic tau neutrino production is suppressed relative to the intrinsic muon neutrino production.

$\nu - K^0$ Analogy, Dirac-Majorana Neutrino Duality and the Neutrino Oscillations [PDF]

open access: yesInt.J.Mod.Phys.A16:4911-4924,2001, 2001
The intent of this paper is to convey a new primary physical idea of a Dirac-Majorana neutrino duality in relation to the topical problem of neutrino oscillations.

Charge-conjugation violating neutrino interactions in supernovae [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
The well known charge conjugation violating interactions in the Standard Model increase neutrino- and decrease anti-neutrino- nucleon cross sections. This impacts neutrino transport in core collapse supernovae through "recoil" corrections of order the ...

Human flaws and logical tools in engineering

open access: yesThe Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
Abstract This paper explores the limitations of human cognition, especially in engineering research, emphasizing the need for mathematical models and methods to guide decision‐making and theory validation. While human cognition excels in certain tasks, it is prone to biases that can distort our understanding.

Nuclear Physics in the Era of Quantum Computing and Quantum Machine Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, EarlyView.
The use of QML in the realm of nuclear physics at low energy is almost nonexistent. Three examples of the use of quantum computing and quantum machine in nuclear physics are presented: the determination of the phase/shape in nuclear models, the calculation of the ground state energy, and the identification of particles in nuclear physics experiments ...

Status of the solutions to neutrino anomalies based on non-standard neutrino interactions

open access: yes, 2000
We review the status of the solutions to neutrino anomalies by flavor-changing as well as flavor-diagonal neutrino interactions. While it is difficult to explain the atmospheric neutrino data the solar neutrino data can be well accounted for by the ...

Human‐AI Co‐Creativity: Does ChatGPT Make Us More Creative?

open access: yesThe Journal of Creative Behavior, Volume 59, Issue 2, June 2025.
ABSTRACT Much has been made of the apparent capacity for creativity of generative AI. However, as research expands the knowledge base regarding the capabilities and performance of this technology, the prevailing view is shifting away from “AI is creative” and towards a more balanced model of Human‐AI co‐creativity.

Neutrinos in cosmology [PDF]

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2004
I review the basics of neutrino cosmology, from the question of neutrino decoupling and the presence of sterile neutrinos to the effects of neutrinos on the cosmic microwave background and large scale structure. Particular emphasis is put on cosmological neutrino mass measurements, both the present bounds and the future prospects.

Reactor neutrinos [PDF]

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Physique, 2005
We review the status and the results of reactor neutrino experiments, that toe the cutting edge of neutrino research. Short baseline experiments have provided the measurement of the reactor neutrino spectrum, and are still searching for important phenomena such as the neutrino magnetic moment.
