Hidden No More: Spotlight on Tidal Disruption Events in Active Galactic Nuclei
ABSTRACT Tidal disruption events (TDEs) are typically discovered in previously quiescent galaxies. However, earlier studies have revealed a handful of TDEs occurring in pre‐existing active galactic nuclei (AGN). We discuss AT2019aalc, a promising TDE candidate in an AGN, and compare it to similar sources.

Neutrino oscillation physics with a Neutrino Factory [PDF]
We illustrate that the baseline Neutrino Factory configuration being developed within the International Design Study for the Neutrino Factory (the IDS-NF) is optimized for standard oscillation-physics measurements and for searches for new physics. For small values of θ13 (sin2 2θ13 < 10−2 ) a Neutrino Factory with two storage rings in which 25 GeV ...

Nambu Quantum Mechanics, proposed in Phys. Lett. B536, 305 (2002), is a deformation of canonical Quantum Mechanics in which the manifold over which the “phase” of an energy eigenstate time evolves is modified.

Limit on sterile neutrino contribution from the Mainz Neutrino Mass Experiment [PDF]
The recent analysis of the normalization of reactor antineutrino data, the calibration data of solar neutrino experiments using gallium targets, and the results from the neutrino oscillation experiment MiniBooNE suggest the existence of a fourth light ...

Investigating the Impact of Rocket Exhaust on Ionospheric Disturbances
Abstract The study of chemical releases into the ionosphere is crucial for understanding ionospheric dynamics and managing space environmental effects. In this work, we investigate the impact of rocket exhaust emissions, particularly CO2 and H2O, on electron density in the ionosphere.

New physics versus quenching factors in Coherent Neutrino Scattering
Recent results on the Coherent Elastic Neutrino-Nucleus Scattering (CEνNS) on germanium present significant discrepancies among experiments. We perform a combined analysis of the Dresden-II, CONUS+ and COHERENT data, quantifying the impact of quenching ...

TITUS: Visualization of Neutrino Events in Liquid Argon Time Projection Chambers
The amount and complexity of data recorded by high energy physics experiments are rapidly growing, and with these grow the difficulties in visualizing such data.

Search for Sterile Neutrino Mixing Using Three Years of Icecube Deepcore Data [PDF]
We present a search for a light sterile neutrino using three years of atmospheric neutrino data from the DeepCore detector in the energy range of approximately 10–60 GeV. DeepCore is the low-energy subarray of the IceCube Neutrino Observatory.

Approximate Flavor Symmetries in the Lepton Sector [PDF]
Approximate flavor symmetries in the quark sector have been used as a handle on physics beyond the Standard Model. Due to the great interest in neutrino masses and mixings and the wealth of existing and proposed neutrino experiments it is important to ...
