Status of direct determination of solar neutrino fluxes after Borexino

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We determine the solar neutrino fluxes from the global analysis of the most up-to-date terrestrial and solar neutrino data including the final results of the three phases of Borexino.

θ23 Octant sensitivity in presence of light sterile and active ν and ν¯ oscillations using beamline experiments

open access: yesNuclear Physics B
We examine the octant sensitivity of the long-baseline neutrino oscillation experiments in view of light sterile neutrino flavors with masses in the 1 eV range. Considering the active-sterile mixing, we explore the possible preferred running modes either

The Ghent Hybrid model in NuWro: a new neutrino single-pion production model in the GeV regime

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Neutrino-induced single-pion production constitutes an essential interaction channel in modern neutrino oscillation experiments, with its products building up a significant fraction of the observable hadronic final states.

Standard and Non-Standard Aspects of Neutrino Physics

open access: yesUniverse
This review provides a succinct overview of the basic aspects of neutrino physics. The topics covered include neutrinos in the standard model and the three-neutrino mixing scheme; the current status of neutrino oscillation measurements and what remains ...

Neutrino Oscillations, Masses and Mixing

open access: yes, 2003
The original B. Pontecorvo idea of neutrino oscillations is discussed. Neutrino mixing and basics of neutrino oscillations in vacuum and in matter are considered. Recent evidences in favour of neutrino oscillations, obtained in Super-Kamiokande, SNO, KamLAND and other neutrino experiments are discussed.

Theory of neutrino fast flavor evolution. Part II. Solutions at the edge of instability

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
In dense neutrino environments, such as provided by core-collapse supernovae or neutron-star mergers, neutrino angular distributions may be unstable to collective flavor conversions, whose outcome remains to be fully understood.

Neutrino Mixing via the Neutrino Portal

open access: yes, 2019
Relation between the lepton and quark mixings: $U_{PMNS} \approx V_{CKM}^{\dagger} U_X$, where $U_X$ is the BM or TBM mixing matrices, implies the quark-lepton (Grand) unification and existence of hidden sector with certain flavor symmetries. The latter couples to the visible sector via the neutrino portal and is responsible for $U_X$, as well as for ...

Self-organizing neutrino mixing matrix

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2012
A new and novel idea for a predictive neutrino mass matrix is presented, using the non-Abelian discrete symmetry A(4) and the seesaw mechanism with only two heavy neutral fermion singlets. Given the components of the one necessarily massless neutrino eigenstate, the other two massive states are automatically generated.

Constraining the core radius and density jumps inside Earth using atmospheric neutrino oscillations

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Atmospheric neutrinos probe the interior of Earth using weak interactions, and provide information complementary to that of gravitational and seismic measurements.
