Bilarge leptonic mixing from Abelian horizontal symmetries [PDF]
We construct and present a model for leptonic mixing based on higher-dimensional operators, using the Froggatt-Nielsen mechanism, and Abelian horizontal symmetries (flavor symmetries) of continuous and discrete type.

THEORY OF NEUTRINO MASSES AND MIXINGS [PDF]
Neutrino physics is going through a revolutionary progress. In this talk I review what we have learned and why neutrino mass is so important. Neutrino masses and mixings are already shedding new insight into the origin of flavor. Given the evidences for neutrino mass, leptogenesis is gaining momentum as the origin of cosmic baryon asymmetry.

Abstract This research delved into the effects of introducing multi‐walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS) into crude oil with an anionic base, aiming to enhance its thermophysical attributes in the EOR process. The investigation encompassed a range of properties, including interfacial tension, viscosity, density, and ...

Resonant neutrino interaction and mixing [PDF]
We investigate the resonant interaction of neutrinos in matter in the presence of mixing. At energies near the W resonance, oscillations are absent; the survival probability of electron antineutrinos is suppressed due to the presence of open inelastic channels.

Present Status of Neutrino Mixing [PDF]
A short review of the status of neutrino mixing and neutrino oscillations is given. The basics of neutrino mixing and oscillations is discussed. The latest evidences of neutrino oscillations obtained in the Super-Kamiokande and the SNO solar neutrino ...

Theory of neutrino fast flavor evolution. Part I. Linear response theory and stability conditions.
Neutrino-neutrino refraction leads to collective flavor evolution that can include fast flavor conversion, an ingredient still missing in numerical simulations of core-collapse supernovae.

We conducted a real‐world prospective nonrandomized study assessing the noninferiority of a nonweight‐based daily ready‐to‐use therapeutic food dosage for the treatment of severe acute malnutrition in children under 5, when compared to the standard weight‐based daily dosage. Our results confirm the noninferiority of this dosage as an alternative to the

Non-zero $\theta_{13}$ and CP violation in a model with $A_4$ flavor symmetry
Motivated by recent observations of non-zero $\theta_{13}$ from the Daya Bay and RENO experiments, we propose a renormalizable neutrino model with $A_4$ discrete symmetry accounting for deviations from the tri-bimaximal mixing pattern of neutrino mixing ...

Improved precision on 2–3 oscillation parameters using the synergy between DUNE and T2HK
A high-precision measurement of ∆ m 31 2 $$ \Delta {m}_{31}^2 $$ and θ 23 is inevitable to estimate the Earth’s matter effect in long-baseline experiments which in turn plays an important role in addressing the issue of neutrino mass ordering and to ...
