FeCu/MWCNT Nanocomposite with a Broad Microwave Absorption Band and Highly Reduced Radar Cross Section and Farfield

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, Volume 11, Issue 15, September 18, 2025.
FeCu bimetallic nanoparticles were synthesized using coprecipitation method. FeCu bimetallic nanoparticles decorated onto the MWCNT's sidewall with different weight ratios to produce novel FeCu/MWCNT nanocomposites. The results showed that a thin nanocomposite exhibited a broad absorption band with coverage of entire frequency bands.

A global analysis of neutrino oscillations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We present a global analysis of neutrino oscillation data, including high-precision measurements of the neutrino mixing angle at reactor experiments, which have confirmed previous indications in favor of .

Final results of the search for ν μ → ν e oscillations with the OPERA detector in the CNGS beam

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
The OPERA experiment has discovered the tau neutrino appearance in the CNGS muon neutrino beam, in agreement with the 3 neutrino flavour oscillation hypothesis.

Monitoring Fracture Hydromechanical Evolution in the Lab and Field Using Unsupervised Metric Learning

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Machine Learning and Computation, Volume 2, Issue 3, September 2025.
Abstract Fractures evolve in time through thermal‐hydraulic‐mechanical‐chemical (THMC) processes that alter their long‐range hydraulic transport properties and modify subsurface behavior and activities. The location of subsurface fractures makes it necessary to use remote sensing techniques such as passive or active seismic monitoring for fracture ...

Aspects of the Symmetry Approach to Neutrino Masses and Mixing [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
In the present thesis we investigate distinct facets of the symmetry approach to neutrino masses and neutrino mixing. Regarding the symmetry approach to neutrino masses, we focus on lepton number violation, namely its relation to Froggatt-Nielsen ...

Solar Neutrino Day-Night Effect [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We summarize the results of Ref. [M. Blennow, T. Ohlsson and H. Snellman, Phys. Rev. D 69 (2004) 073006, hep-ph/0311098] in which we determine the effects of three flavor mixing on the day-night asymmetry in the flux of solar neutrinos.

Limits on sterile neutrino mixing using atmospheric neutrinos in Super-Kamiokande [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We present limits on sterile neutrino mixing using 4,438 live-days of atmospheric neutrino data from the Super-Kamiokande experiment. We search for fast oscillations driven by an eV$^2$-scale mass splitting and for oscillations into sterile neutrinos ...

Invisible Labor and the “Ghost Particle”: Underground Physics at the Kolar Gold Fields**

open access: yesBerichte zur Wissenschaftsgeschichte, Volume 48, Issue 1-2, Page 163-179, August 2025.
Abstract When cosmic rays—high‐energy particles from outer space—encounter the Earth's atmosphere, they produce particles called neutrinos. To detect them, physicists go underground inside deep mines where the overlying rock can filter out the cosmic‐ray background radiation.

Measurement of neutrino mixing angle Θ13 in the Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Neutrino oscillations have been observed in experiments measuring solar, atmospheric, accelerator and reactor neutrinos. The phenomenon can be described by three mixing angles and three phases.

Neutrino masses from operator mixing [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
We show that in theories that reduce, at the Fermi scale, to an extension of the standard model with two doublets, there can be additional dimension five operators giving rise to neutrino masses. In particular there exists a singlet operator which cannot
