Supernova neutrinos and their oscillations
Physical Review D, 1988Three-neutrino oscillations, both in a vacuum and in matter, are applied to the supernova neutrino flux. It is found that oscillations can change the flux substantially, reducing the number of directional events in the Kamioka nucleon-decay experiment and increasing the number of isotropic events in the Irvine-Michigan-Brookhaven experiment.

Economical neutrino oscillation
Physical Review Letters, 1991We consider pseudo-Dirac-type neutrinos with Majorana masses which are smaller than their Dirac ones. It is shown that there are two possible kinds of resonant neutrino oscillations for each generation, whose interplay provides an economical way to solve the puzzles of solar and atmospheric neutrinos simultaneously.

Neutrino oscillation experiments
Il Nuovo Cimento C, 2011In this paper, we give a short overview of neutrino oscillation experiments with emphasis on current European programmes of interest for INFN and on mid-term perspectives. In particular, we discuss the results that strengthen the standard three-family interpretation of leptonic mixing and the tension originating from the persistent LSND-Miniboone ...

Neutrino mass and oscillations
Space Science Reviews, 2002Present understanding of neutrino mass and mixing are discussed based on recent neutrino experiments, including solar, atmospheric, reactor and long baseline accelerator neutrino experiments. Especially, the results from the Super-Kamiokande experiment are discussed in detail.

Oscillations with laboratory neutrinos
Nuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 2001Abstract The status of searches for oscillations using neutrinos produced in the laboratory is reviewed. The most recent results from experiments approaching completion are reported and the potential capabilities of long baseline projects being developed in USA and Europe are considered and compared.

Neutrino oscillations and the solar-neutrino problem
Physical Review D, 1987The values of neutrino masses and mixing angles which are required by the Mikheyev-Smirnov-Wolfenstein (MSW) solution to the solar-neutrino problem are found from analytic solutions to the neutrino propagation equations in the Sun. They coincide with those obtained through extensive numerical computations by Rosen and Gelb.

Atmospheric neutrino data and neutrino oscillations
Physical Review D, 1993Several calculations of the upward throughgoing and stopping muon fluxes produced by atmospheric, or cosmic ray, neutrinos interacting in the material surrounding underground detectors are compared and the uncertainties in the calculations estimated.

Solar neutrino observations and neutrino oscillations
Physical Review D, 1990The results of recent Kamiokande-II and {sup 37}Cl solar-neutrino experiments are quantitatively analyzed assuming the Mikheyev-Smirnov-Wolfenstein solution to the solar-neutrino problem. It is found that the parameter region known as the large mass'' solution to the solar-neutrino problem is disfavored by a little more than 1 {sigma} while the small ...

Neutrino oscillations in dense neutrino gases
Physical Review D, 1993We consider oscillations of neutrinos under conditions in which the neutrino density is sufficiently large that neutrino-neutrino interactions cannot be neglected. A formalism is developed to treat this highly nonlinear system. Numerical analysis reveals a rich array of phenomena.
