Observation of Atmospheric Neutrinos
In 1998, the Super-Kamiokande discovered neutrino oscillation using atmospheric neutrino anomalies. It was the first direct evidence of neutrino mass and the first phenomenon to be discovered beyond the standard model of particle physics.

ATMOSPHERIC NEUTRINO OSCILLATIONS [PDF]
The recent results from the Soudan 2, MACRO and SuperKamiokande experiments on atmospheric neutrino oscillations are summarized and discussed. Some features of possible future atmospheric neutrino experiments are presented.

Quantum correlations in terms of neutrino oscillation probabilities
Neutrino oscillations provide evidence for the mode entanglement of neutrino mass eigenstates in a given flavour eigenstate. Given this mode entanglement, it is pertinent to consider the relation between the oscillation probabilities and other quantum ...

CPT-VIOLATING NEUTRINO OSCILLATIONS [PDF]
We propose a simple phenomenological model predicting, through Lorentz symmetry breaking, a CPT-violating asymmetry between particle and antiparticle states in neutrino oscillations involving sterile neutrinos. Such a model is able to explain the apparently observed anomalous excess of low-energy νe-like events, reported by the MiniBooNE collaboration,

Neutrino-4 anomaly: Oscillations or fluctuations?
We present a deep study of the Neutrino-4 data aimed at finding the statistical significance of the large-mixing short-baseline neutrino oscillation signal claimed by the Neutrino-4 collaboration at more than 3σ. We found that the results of the Neutrino-

Dynamic fast flavor oscillation waves in dense neutrino gases
The flavor transformation in a dense neutrino gas can have a significant impact on the physical and chemical evolution of its surroundings. In this work we demonstrate that a dynamic, fast flavor oscillation wave can develop spontaneously in a one ...

Parity violation and chiral oscillation of cosmological relic neutrinos
The conventional derivation of neutrino oscillation treats neutrino mass eigenstate as plane wave with an overall evolution phase. Nevertheless, due to the intrinsic parity-violating nature of weak interactions, only the left-chiral neutrino can be ...

Mixed states for neutral current neutrino oscillation
The theory of neutrino oscillation predicts that if both neutrino and antineutrino coming from Z0 decay are detected, one can observe an oscillation pattern between the corresponding detectors.

Effects of gravitational lensing on neutrino oscillation in $$ \gamma $$ γ -spacetime
We study the effects of gravitational lensing on neutrino oscillations in the $$\gamma $$ γ -spacetime which describes a static, axially-symmetric and asymptotically flat solution of the Einstein’s field equations in vacuum.
