The theory of oscillations of solar neutrinos is developed as it applies to the electron-recoil spectrum in neutrino-electron scattering. The spectral information obtained by such measurements (as opposed to counting total event rates) is crucial for allowing observation of neutrino oscillations for masses down to 500 neV.

Economical neutrino oscillation
Physical Review Letters, 1991We consider pseudo-Dirac-type neutrinos with Majorana masses which are smaller than their Dirac ones. It is shown that there are two possible kinds of resonant neutrino oscillations for each generation, whose interplay provides an economical way to solve the puzzles of solar and atmospheric neutrinos simultaneously.

Neutrino oscillation experiments
Il Nuovo Cimento C, 2011In this paper, we give a short overview of neutrino oscillation experiments with emphasis on current European programmes of interest for INFN and on mid-term perspectives. In particular, we discuss the results that strengthen the standard three-family interpretation of leptonic mixing and the tension originating from the persistent LSND-Miniboone ...
