Influence of light nuclei on neutrino-driven supernova outflows [PDF]
We study the composition of the outer layers of a protoneutron star and show that light nuclei are present in substantial amounts. The composition is dominated by nucleons, deuterons, tritons and alpha particles; 3He is present in smaller amounts.

When calculating the maintenance of the operation of nuclear reactors, the most popular are calculations according to precision programs based on detailed core models, which make it possible to predict the characteristics of the upcoming reactor campaign or to calculate the conditions for irradiation of materials in it.

Neutron matter from chiral effective field theory interactions
The neutron-matter equation of state constrains the properties of many physical systems over a wide density range and can be studied systematically using chiral effective field theory (EFT).

Constraints on Phases of Supersymmetric Flavour Conserving Couplings [PDF]
In the unconstrained MSSM, we reanalyze the constraints on the phases of supersymmetric flavour conserving couplings that follow from the electron and neutron electric dipole moments (EDM).

Relativistic deuteron structure function at large Q^2
The deuteron deep inelastic unpolarized structure function F_2^D is calculated using the Wilson operator product expansion method. The long distance behaviour, related to the deuteron bound state properties, is evaluated using the Bethe-Salpeter equation

Time-dependent analysis of the nuclear and Coulomb dissociation of 11Be [PDF]
The breakup of 11Be on carbon and lead targets around 70 MeV/nucleon is investigated within a semiclassical framework. The role of the 5/2+ resonance is analyzed in both cases.

Neutronics and Thermal-hydraulics Coupling High Fidelity Simulation of PWR Core with Heavy Reflector
The reflector can reduce the neutron leakage from the reactor core, increase the neutron economy, and improve the fuel utilization. In commercial PWR, light water is usually used as the main body, combined with stainless steel shroud to form radial ...

Synchrotron Radiation for Quantum Technology
Materials and interfaces underpin quantum technologies, with synchrotron and FEL methods key to understanding and optimizing them. Advances span superconducting and semiconducting qubits, 2D materials, and topological systems, where strain, defects, and interfaces govern performance.

The charge-exchange (3He,t) scattering to the isobaric analog state (IAS) of the target can be considered as "elastic" scattering of 3He by the isovector term of the optical potential (OP) that flips the projectile isospin.
