Modelling Hybrid Stars in Quark-Hadron Approaches
The density in the core of neutron stars can reach values of about 5 to 10 times nuclear matter saturation density. It is, therefore, a natural assumption that hadrons may have dissolved into quarks under such conditions, forming a hybrid star. This star

Atomistic Mechanisms Triggered by Joule Heating Effects in Metallic Cu‐Bi Nanowires for Spintronics
Bi doped metallic Cu nanowires are promising for spintronics thanks to the stabilization of a giant spin Hall effect. However, heat resulting from current injection forces Bi to leave solution, forcing segregation into monoatomic decorations which evolve into coherent crystalline aggregates.

Optimization Design of Fast Neutron Target Station Beam Extraction Based on Genetic Algorithm
An accelerator neutron source target station for energy calibration using the time-of-flight (TOF) method was designed in this paper. Considering the special requirements of high-repetition-rate proton pulses from the accelerator and the off-target ...

Capture rate and neutron helicity asymmetry for ordinary muon capture on hydrogen
Applying heavy-baryon chiral perturbation theory to ordinary muon capture (OMC) on a proton, we calculate the capture rate and neutron helicity asymmetry up to next-to-next-to-leading order.

Multiphase printable organohydrogels with tunable microstructures are developed to control molecular transport pathways for immiscible cargo. The tortuosity and domain size of the colloidal phases are tuned by adjusting temperature and shear during processing, which enables the tailoring of diffusion kinetics due to different transport pathways.
