Neutron imaging can nondestructively detect the composition and structure of a sample, and has been used in many fields for quantitative analysis. Neutron imaging can be used to detect elements that are difficult to detect with X-rays, such as hydrogen.

Wide Temperature Zero Thermal Expansion in Al Matrix Composites with High Thermal Conductivity
Strain engineering strategy is implemented on the negative thermal expansion (NTE) phase Zn1.6Mg0.4P2O7 within composites, where Al matrix‐induced compressive strain drives uniform polyhedral and unit cell evolution, thereby enabling broad and consistent thermal compensation efficacy and obtaining good thermal performance.

Efficient Direct Recycling of Spent Batteries: Integrated Lithiation and Delamination
An integrated process for the delamination and relithiation of spent cathodes, LixNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2 and LixFePO4, under open‐air conditions is proposed. The transition‐metal (Ni) oxidation state in the cathode is reduced by the oxidation of diethylene glycol, facilitating relithiation. Glycol aldehyde formation induces 100% electrode delamination.
