Phonon contributions to the entropies of hP24 and fcc Co3V [PDF]
Inelastic neutron-scattering spectra and neutron-diffraction patterns were measured on the alloy Co3V at temperatures from 1073-1513 K, where the hP24 (ordered hexagonal) and fee structures are the equilibrium states of the alloy.

Mesoporous Carbon Thin Films with Large Mesopores as Model Material for Electrochemical Applications
Mesoporous carbon thin films possessing 70 nm mesopores are prepared on titanium substrates by soft templating of resol resins with a self‐synthesized poly(ethylene oxide)‐block‐poly(hexyl acrylate) block copolymer. A strategy to avoid corrosion of the metal substrate is presented, and the films are extensively characterized in terms of morphology ...

Magnetic superelasticity and inverse magnetocaloric effect in Ni-Mn-In [PDF]
Applying a magnetic field to a ferromagnetic Ni$_{50}$Mn$_{34}$In$_{16}$ alloy in the martensitic state induces a structural phase transition to the austenitic state.

Structural Porosity and Low Mineral Density in Enamel Rods Drive Molar Incisor Hypomineralisation
This study uses advanced imaging modalities on multiple length scales to show that molar‐incisor hypomineralization does not present as a locally homogeneous pathology. Instead, microstructural defects, characterized through non‐mineralized, protein‐rich sheaths and an altered mineral structure in between prism rods, resulting in local differences in ...
