Neutron electric dipole moment with external electric field method in lattice QCD [PDF]
We discuss a possibility that the Neutron Electric Dipole Moment (NEDM) can be calculated in lattice QCD simulations in the presence of the CP violating $\theta$ term. In this paper we measure the energy difference between spin-up and spin-down states of

Spaceborne and spaceborn: Physiological aspects of pregnancy and birth during interplanetary flight
Abstract Crewed interplanetary return missions that are on the planning horizon will take years, more than enough time for initiation and completion of a pregnancy. Pregnancy is viewed as a sequence of processes – fertilization, blastocyst formation, implantation, gastrulation, placentation, organogenesis, gross morphogenesis, birth and neonatal ...

Is There A Pure Electronic Ferroelectric?
The search for faster, more reliable ferroelectric materials has shifted from traditional lattice‐driven ferroelectrics, which rely on slow ionic displacements, to electronic ferroelectrics, where polarization is governed by electronic ordering. This shift enables ultrafast switching, low‐field operation, and resistance to fatigue.

Sum rules for CP-violating operators of Weinberg type
We estimate the size of the hadronic matrix elements of CP-violating three-gluon and four-gluon Weinberg operators using sum-rule techniques. In the three-gluon case, we are able to reproduce the expressions given in earlier works, while the four-gluon ...

Neutron Electric Dipole Moment from Beyond the Standard Model
We discuss the phenomenology of neutron Electric Dipole Moment from the Standard Model and beyond, and identify the matrix elements most necessary to connect the current and forthcoming experiments with phenomenology.

Neutron electric dipole moment including gluon corrections
Abstract In the framework of the Kobayashi-Maskawa model we calculate the electric dipole moment (EDM) of the neutron. QCD renormalization effects are included and the MIT bag model is used to compute the matrix elements of quark operators. Our result shows that QCD enhances the neutron EDM by an order of magnitude.

Non‐collinear magnetism is of high interest in the field of magnetoelectrics supplying a convenient mechanism to break inversion symmetry and thereby allowing for a spontaneous electrical polarization. Such “multiferroics of spin origin” are inherently suitable for electric field control of magnetism, offering a route toward low power ICT applications.

Cryogenic Systems for the TUCAN EDM Experiment [PDF]
The TUCAN (TRIUMF UltraCold Advanced Neutron) Collaboration is completing a new ultracold neutron (UCN) source. The UCN source will deliver UCNs to a neutron electric dipole moment (EDM) experiment.

Magnon‐Mediated Long‐Range Entanglement in a Spin‐1/2 Heisenberg Chain Coupled to Magnetic Skyrmions
Magnetic skyrmions generate via their stray magnetic fields, entanglement in a nearby interacting spin chain and control the transfer of information encoded in the spin excitations. ABSTRACT Magnetic skyrmionic stray fields are functionalizable to trigger, maintain, and steer quantum entanglement in a coupled chain of localized spins.

The controlled formation of defects in large‐area CVD‐grown hBN using various irradiation methods is demonstrated. Defect type and properties depend on particle type (He+, Ne+, Ar+, neutrons, and electrons), substrate effects, and film thickness.
