POLCA-T Neutron Kinetics Model Benchmarking
The demand for computational tools that are capable to reliably predict the behavior of a nuclear reactor core in a variety of static and dynamic conditions does inevitably require a proper qualification of these tools for the intended purposes. One of the qualification methods is the verification of the code in question.

From Cages to Sheets: Computational Elucidation of Methylaluminoxane Structure and Reactivity
Methylaluminoxane (MAO), the dominant cocatalyst in metallocene‐based olefin polymerization, has resisted structural characterization for decades. This review traces the computational journey from early cage and nanotube proposals to the identification of two‐dimensional aluminoxane sheets as the thermodynamically preferred motif, and how this ...

Gram‐Scale Synthesis of Perdeuterated Paracetamol
We report the synthesis of perdeuterated paracetamol on a multigram scale with an average deuterium incorporation of > 93% and no less than 78% at any individual position. ABSTRACT The synthesis of deuterated compounds is a major stumbling block in the field of neutron total scattering on disordered materials.

Lighting up FLASH and beyond: TLD response across four orders of magnitude in proton dose rate
ABSTRACT Background Thermoluminescent dosimeters (TLDs) are widely used for proton therapy dosimetry and remote audits. Yet their response under pulsed delivery and the ultrahigh dose rates relevant to proton FLASH remains incompletely characterized.

ABSTRACT Alkali metal (Li, Na, and K) batteries (AMBs) have attracted widespread attention in recent years because of their high theoretical specific capacity and attractive energy density. However, they still suffer from uncontrollable dendrite growth and sluggish conductivity during cycling, which lead to security issues and inferior cycling ...

Divergent Electrochemical Behaviors of O2 and O3 Phases in Li‐Rich Layered Oxides
ABSTRACT Lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs) have dominated the landscape of electrochemical energy storage for decades. The growing market demands for higher energy densities are pushing against the limitations of conventional cathode materials. Li‐rich layered oxides (LLOs) present a promising path forward by harnessing both cationic and anionic redox ...
