Rapid and Reliable Conformational Analysis of Glycans by Small Angle X‐Ray Scattering Guided Molecular Dynamics Simulations

open access: yesChemPhysChem, EarlyView.
By explicitly accounting for the conformational dynamics and hydration effects, the molecular dynamics simulations accurately predicted the small‐angle X‐ray scattering intensities of two glycan hairpins with similar primary sequences. This approach enables the resolving their intricate conformational properties, including distinct secondary structures,

Low‐Viscosity Concentrated Lithium Chloride Solution with Unsymmetrical Ditopic Receptors in Organic Solvents

open access: yesChemPhysChem, EarlyView.
A low viscosity and highly concentrated solution of LiCl can be prepared using ditopic receptors bearing different terminal substituents on urea moieties linked by ether groups in organic solvents. The solution shows improved ionic conductivity due to the low viscosity, as well as suppression of solidification compared to solutions with symmetrical ...

Characterization of Bubbles and Antibubbles Interfaces Stabilized Using Pickering Particles With Different Wetting Properties

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Lipid Science and Technology, EarlyView.
GRAPHICAL ABSTRACT Preparation of W/O/W double emulsions using hydrophobic silica (R972) and maltodextrin. A primary W/O emulsion is formed via homogenization and ultrasound and then re‐emulsified in an outer aqueous phase. The final emulsion is freeze‐dried for 1 day to obtain structured antibubbles.
