Mechanical Resonant Sensing of Spin Texture Dynamics in a 2D Antiferromagnet

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Detection of antiferromagnetic spin texture in a 2D magnetic crystal is achieved through nanomechanical resonators at radio frequencies. Sharp magnetic transitions that lead to abrupt changes in mechanical linear and nonlinear responses are assigned to antiferromagnetic domain motions.

Determined by neutron radiation absorbed dose to the liver in practice [PDF]

open access: yesبیولوژی کاربردی, 2017
In this article, a real liver tissue and soft tissue on the front of (such as fat and skin) decomposed to constituent elements And then irradiation with neutrons in radiotherapy action takes place. . This could be all about the treatment of liver cancer.

Impact of Energy Dependence on Ground Level and Avionic SEE Rate Prediction When Applying Standard Test Procedures

open access: yesAerospace, 2019
Single event effects (SEEs) in ground level and avionic applications are mainly induced by neutrons and protons, of which the relative contribution of the latter is larger with increasing altitude. Currently, there are two main applicable standards—

Toward Stable, High‐Energy, Partially Disordered Mn‐Rich Spinel Cathodes by Revealing and Mitigating Surface Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Mechano‐activated partially disordered spinel LiMn2O4 is demonstrated with high Mn utilization and a specific energy over 800 Wh kg−1 at the cathode active material (CAM) level. Surface degradation, caused by the Jahn‐Teller effect in baseline commercial carbonate electrolyte (Gen 2), intensifies Mn2+ dissolution and crosstalk at high potentials ...

The neutron moderation theory, taking into account a moderating medium temperature

open access: yesTrudy Odesskogo Politehničeskogo Universiteta, 2017
In this paper, in the framework of the gas model, based on the solution of the kinematic problem of the neutron elastic scattering on the nucleus in the “L” system in the general case, that is, when prior to the scattering not only the neutron, but also ...

Mussel‐Inspired Molecular Strategies for Fabricating Functional Materials With Underwater Adhesion and Self‐Healing Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review systematically examines the nanomechanical mechanisms of mussel‐inspired molecular interactions, primarily investigated by direct force measurement techniques such as surface forces apparatus and atomic force microscopy. The macroscopic adhesive and self‐healing performances of mussel‐inspired functional materials, including coacervates ...

On the spectrum of moderated neutrons emitted by the isotropic source in the gas fuel

open access: yesЯдерна фізика та енергетика, 2016
Analytical formula for the equation of the neutron scattering for isotropic neutron source, which includes the temperature of the moderating medium as the parameter, was first obtained in the given work in the framework of gas model of the medium.

Spin Precession of Slow Neutrons in Einstein-Cartan Gravity with Torsion, Chameleon and Magnetic Field

open access: yes, 2016
We analyse a spin precession of slow neutrons in the Einstein-Cartan gravity with torsion, chameleon and magnetic field. For the derivation of the Heisenberg equation of motion of the neutron spin we use the effective low-energy potential, derived by ...
