An Empirical Equation for Tunnel Squeezing Prediction in Weak Rock Masses
Squeezing in tunnels is a major problem in tunnel engineering that involves cost and occupational safety risks as well as changes in tunnel shape. Accurate estimation of squeezing is important in the early stages of tunnel design and in terms of solving problems during construction.

Utilization of beef lung powder in model chicken emulsion formulation
This study examines the effects of adding beef lung powder to chicken emulsion formulations, revealing significant improvements in emulsion stability, reduced oxidation rates, and minimized cooking losses. The optimal formulation includes 70.48% chicken meat, 12.42% animal fat, 9.30% water/ice, and 7.80% beef lung powder, demonstrating that beef lung ...

“Lombard Effect” and Voice Changes in Adductor Laryngeal Dystonia: A Pilot Study
Objectives The aim was to describe the acoustic, auditory‐perceptive, and subjective voice changes under the Lombard effect (LE) in adductor laryngeal dystonia (AdLD) patients. Methods Subjective perception of vocal effort (OMNI Vocal Effort Scale OMNI‐VES), Maximum Phonation Time (MPT), and the perceptual severity of dysphonia (GRBAS scale) were ...

Total bacterial counts in water samples applied HOCl and ClO2 at 0th, 1st, 5th, 10th, 20th, and 30th minutes from dental waterlines; counted by dipslide and conventional methods. SEM images before and after disinfectant exposure were examined and it was determined that both disinfectants prevented the biofilm layer at the 30th minute.
