After recalling the classical p-adic Nevanlinna theory, we describe the same theory in the complement of an open disk and examine various immediate applications: uniqueness, Picard’s values, branched values, small functions.

A Modification of the Nevanlinna Theory
Computational Methods and Function Theory, 2009This paper presents a modification of the Nevanlinna theory by making use of the full generality of the Poisson--Jensen formula instead of using a special case of the formula, the Jensen formula, that had been used to deduce the ``classical'' Nevanlina theory. More precisely, let \(\alpha\) be a point in the disk \(|z|

Ax–Schanuel type theorems on functional transcendence via Nevanlinna theory
Mathematische Zeitschrift, 2019In this paper, we apply Nevanlinna theory to prove two Ax–Schanuel type theorems for functional transcendence when the original exponential map is replaced by other meromorphic functions. We give examples to show that these results are optimal.
