An Analysis of the Environmental Attitudes of Undergraduate Construction Management Students using the New Ecological Paradigm Scale

open access: yesIrish Journal of Academic Practice
Institutions generally lack formal processes to identify the impact that environmental initiatives may have on students, but one possible solution is the use of the New Ecological Paradigm (NEP) scale to monitor these potential changes.

Organisational Memetics?: Organisational Learning as a Selection Process [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
Companies are not only systems created and controlled by those who manage them but also self-organising entities that evolve through learning. Whereas an organism is a creation of natural replicators, genes, an organisation can be seen as a product of an

TreeSpider: In‐Canopy Exploration With Tether‐Based Aerial Modular Arms

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A tethered drone with perching arms and a 360° ring enables unprecedented maneuverability within dense forest canopies. By dynamically adjusting tether length and decoupling pitch from the frame, it navigates between branches, senses multiple trees, and interacts physically with foliage.

Ecological Assessment of Executive Functions: A New Virtual Reality Paradigm

open access: yesBrain Impairment, 2014
Acquired brain injury (ABI) can lead to a constellation of higher-order executive problems, which can impact significantly on everyday behaviour. While some neuropsychological assessments are able to measure these impairments objectively, increasingly, clinicians are finding that a subset of their patients passes these tests while still exhibiting ...

Degradable Magnetic Composites from Recycled NdFeB Magnets for Soft Actuation and Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents a degradable soft magnetic composite made from recycled NdFeB particles embedded in a gelatin‐based organogel. The material is processed into magnetic sensors and soft robotic components, which can later be dissolved in a green solvent to recover NdFeB magnetic particles.
