Safe harbors and stable connections? The relationships between grandparents and grandchildren

open access: yesFamily Court Review, EarlyView.
Abstract Grandparents can play a variety of roles in the lives of their grandchildren, ranging from occasional visitor to full‐time caregiver, representing a stabilizing force or a source of conflict. Knowledge Will Always Get through: Inventors, International Networks, and Flows of Technological Knowledge between Britain and the United States in the Interwar Deglobalization Period

open access: yesJournal of Management Studies, EarlyView.
Abstract Researchers have highlighted that institutional contexts affect the transnational diffusion of knowledge. Comparing proton momentum distributions in A = 2 and 3 nuclei via 2H 3H and 3He (e,e′p) measurements

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
We report the first measurement of the (e,e′p) reaction cross-section ratios for Helium-3 (He3), Tritium (H3), and Deuterium (d). The measurement covered a missing momentum range of 40≤pmiss≤550MeV/c, at large momentum transfer (〈Q2〉≈1.9 (GeV/c)2) and xB>

Search for impact ejecta at the Paleocene–Eocene boundary

open access: yesMeteoritics &Planetary Science, EarlyView.
Abstract Almost 10 years have passed since microtektites and microkrystites were reported for the Paleocene–Eocene (P–E) boundary in drill cores and outcrop in New Jersey and in ODP Hole 1051B in the western North Atlantic. The glassy spherules were interpreted to reflect an impact trigger for the Paleocene–Eocene Thermal Maximum (PETM).

Secrecy: An Epistemological Account

open access: yesNoûs, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Although the ethical and political implications of secrecy are significant, I argue here that its fundamental nature is epistemological and that any account of its nature must be based on its epistemological profile. In particular, I propose examining secrecy within the framework of social and political epistemology, considering secrets as ...
