Farmers' Preferences for Gene Editing Crops and Influencing Factors

open access: yesApplied Economic Perspectives and Policy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Gene editing (GE) is gaining momentum worldwide, but limited data on UK farmers' preferences hinders our understanding of its potential impact amid deregulation debates. Structure and Spectroscopic Characterisation of Phenanthroline‐Based Iodobismuthate(III) Complexes Utilised for Raw Acoustic Signal Classification

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Memristors based on trimethylsulfonium (phenanthroline)tetraiodobismuthate have been utilised as a nonlinear node in a delayed feedback reservoir. This system allowed an efficient classification of acoustic signals, namely differentiation of vocalisation of the brushtail possum (Trichosurus vulpecula).

Majority‐Voting Overlapping Method for Error Correction in DNA Data Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
We propose an overlapping‐based majority‐voting method for DNA data storage error correction. By aligning multiple reads and choosing the most frequent base per position, it suppresses substitution errors without prior models. Validated on synthetic and real sequencing data, it achieves high‐fidelity, scalable, and cost‐effective reconstruction ...
