New Faunistic Records of Ground Beetles (Coleoptera: Carabidae) in Iran
Journal of Entomological Science, 2017Abstract Field-based research conducted in 2016 in Iran resulted in the collection of ground beetles (Coleoptera: Carabidae). Three species—Brachinus (Brachinus) alexandri (F. Battoni, 1984), Sinechostictus (Sinechostictus) lederi (Reitter, 1888), and Amblystomus metallescens (Dejean, 1829)—are reported from Iran for the first time.

New Faunistic Records of Ground Beetles (Coleoptera: Carabidae) in Southern Iran
The Coleopterists Bulletin, 2017As a result of recent field work in Hormozgan and Bushehr provinces in southern Iran from winter to spring 2016, two species of Carabidae, Diodercarus arrowi Lutshnik, 1931 and Chlaenius (Amblygenius) bengalensis Chaudoir, 1856, are reported from Iran for the first time. Twelve new province records are documented for Hormozgan and seven for Bushehr.

New Species, Records and Faunistic Notes Concerning Orthoptera in Arizona
American Midland Naturalist, 1947The present author, having spent the major portion of the period from 1938 to 1942 in Arizona, was privileged to devote the greater part of several summers in surveying the hot deserts in this state. In addition, special collecting trips were made to remote places which in certain mountain ranges were characterized by extreme xeric conditions.
