New approximation for the interaction potential of light channeled particles with crystals
Radiation Effects, 1983Abstract A new approximation for the continuous interaction potentials of atomic planes and strings with channeled electrons and positrons in crystals is proposed. A model in which atomic electron distributions within a certain atomic subshell are assumed to be exponentially decaying is used.

Applied Optics, 1982
A new technique has been developed for determination of optical depths delta(a) as low as 0.0005 for thin layers of absorbing materials or particles. The measurement involves optical amplification of the absorption and is not affected by the scattering properties of the absorber.
