A NEW CHRONOLOGY FOR THE MOON AND MERCURY [PDF]

open access: yesThe Astronomical Journal, 2009
In this paper we present a new method for dating the surface of the Moon, obtained by modeling the incoming flux of impactors and converting it into a size distribution of resulting craters. We compare the results from this model with the standard chronology for the Moon showing their similarities and discrepancies.

New Jupiter Satellites and Moon-Moon Collisions [PDF]

open access: yesResearch Notes of the AAS, 2018

Observing the new Moon [PDF]

open access: yesMonthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, 2003
The first appearance of the new Moon has been used throughout history and is still used today to determine religious calendars. All these models have to be tested against observations to test their validity.

A new moon for Neptune [PDF]

open access: yesNature, 2019
Hippocamp, a previously undetected moon of Neptune, has a peculiar location and a tiny size relative to the planet’s other inner moons, which suggests a violent history for the region within 100,000 kilometres of the planet. The discovery of Neptune’s seventh inner moon.
