POTENTIAL GEOLOGICAL SIGNIFICATIONS OF CRISIUM BASIN REVEALED BY CE-2 CELMS DATA [PDF]
Mare Crisium is one of the most prominent multi-ring basins on the nearside of the Moon. In this study, the regolith thermophysical features of Mare Crisium are studied with the CELMS data from CE-2 satellite.

A liquid crystal of twisted nematic mode on a plasmonic antenna metasurface device modulates complex reflectivity with a small voltage variation of 3.1 V on the antenna electrode and 2.5 V on the metal electrode. The largest complex modulation is at a wavelength of 660 nm with phase and reflectivity amplitude modulations of 0–2π radian and 0.3 and 0.6,

Multi-criteria GIS analysis of the topography of the Moon and better solutions for potential landing
During the past twenty years, the need to reach theMoon by the private space missions has been growing. Some of the private missions are supported by Google Lunar X-prize and Space-X. In the period between 2020 and 2050 private companies will be planning

Empirical Model for Moon Sighting
An empirical model is developed to precisely identify the new crescent visibility of each Hijri month. The model is based on the actual real measurements of the moon motion.

A long-lived magma ocean on a young Moon
Fitting the isotopic composition of lunar rocks to a new thermal and crystallization model shows the Moon formed 4.40 to 4.45 Ga. A giant impact onto Earth led to the formation of the Moon, resulted in a lunar magma ocean (LMO), and initiated the last ...

Highly Efficient Biphoton Generation from Thin Dense Atomic Ensemble
Herein, a new platform for a highly efficient biphoton source is presented using a thin, dense atomic medium from a hot 1 mm‐long chip‐scale Cs atomic vapor cell. Strongly correlated bright biphotons are generated via spontaneous four‐wave mixing from a dense atomic ensemble based on the 133Cs atom.

Fabrication and Functionalisation of Nanocarbon‐Based Field‐Effect Transistor Biosensors
Next‐generation diagnostics: Nanocarbon‐based field effect transistors (NC‐FETs) use incoming target analytes to impart a gating effect on conductance. Here, we review the operational mechanisms behind NC‐FETs, the fabrication and functionalisation of NC‐FETs with receptor biomolecules and downstream biosensing applications.
